On Saturday we welcomed two new little ones to the farm….
Their mother had a severe case of mastitis and could not nurse the little ones properly. Their owners both worked and couldn’t bottle feed the babes as they needed feedings every 4-6 hours.
With the blessing of the Papa of our farm we happily picked them up.
During the day we have them in the fenced in part of the chicken coop… at night (so it is easier for Mama to bottle feed) they are in a cozy little play house on the front lawn.
I tell you… there is hardly anything cuter than a baby goat that is learning to run around, kick, jump and play.
Completely precious!
I hope your day is grand…

Dearest Chas,
Okay, now I just am going to have to order myself a couple of baby goats…they are too stinkin' cute!
I enjoy reading about all your homestead happenings…what a lovely journey you are on and thank you for inviting us to come with you.
Yours so kindredly,
Shan

If we lived closer than a couple of hours away, my daughter would be more than happy to help with these cuties. 🙂
