Fred, our duck… thinks he is a chicken.
He doesn’t want to go to the pond.
He wants to hang out with Lt. Dan and the ladies.
Well, ducks need water, and he was looking a bit rough, so Cameo and Carlie decided he needed some sprucing up.
He wasn’t too reluctant, he is a duck after all…
Afterwards was the humorous part…
He preened and fluffed and groomed himself till he was just right.
Too bad we don’t have any females, Fred. You are looking pretty great!

I do know the difference in a goose and a duck, I am on pain meds, too though in my defense! HAHA
I used to be terrified of a goose b/c I got "attacked" by one when I was a little girl! It really just wanted my cornbread, but I didn't know that at the time. I have always been leary of the creatures ever since! When I first saw Cameo's pic dipping him in the water, I thought "BRAVE CAMEO!!!!"…haha…cute post!!! Love all your farm animals! I wish I could talk Jamey into letting me have a few, too! Maybe one day….dreaming…never know! Love you guys!
