Autumn Birthday Time

Out of our family of 6, we have 4 summer birthdays. Fairly close together. Beginning with Cameo in May, Carlie Jean in July, Abram and Shannon in August. Then we have a little break until October, and Elijah and I have a birthday one week apart. His actual due date was a day before my birthday… but at 9 lbs even and a head and chest that were LARGE… I’m sure glad he came on when he did. 🙂

To celebrate, Eli always asks for one thing. For his buddies to come over to camp. This year because of the drought, we didn’t get to have a campfire, but they did camp. 

Archery, air soft wars, games, and all sorts of fun was to be had by all. My boy is 14 years old… Wow. Time flies.

And a week later, I had a birthday! My family surprised me with a new blender and I LOVE it. My old blender that was given to me by a friend was just not up to the task of the daily use I was giving it. I compared the two once I opened my gift. My old blender was a 300 watt. The new, is 1500 watts!!! And 2 horsepower! WHAT?!?! It’s 5x stronger than my old. Smoothies are no problem now. For sure!

And if you are familiar with me and my blog or know me in real life, you know that as a treat to myself each year I put up my Christmas decorations by my birthday… So I have been working on that a bunch and I look forward to sharing those scenes with you soon!
