Last Friday we woke up to a great surprise. My mom called early to tell me that their school had been delayed because of SNOW! I didn’t even realize the chance was so great, much less that we were getting snow! I was thrilled! I knew the kids would be too!
It was also the day when our homeschool co-op was going to have our Christmas party.
Snow. Christmas party. 17 days til Christmas… I was so tickled I couldn’t even contain my excitement!
I didn’t get a lot of pictures, and of course I regret that now… but I did beg the kids to let me take a few outside the church after the party was over.
I was working on getting Ace to grin and of course, the big kids couldn’t help but look at him. It was really cute.
This picture makes me want to cry. They are all so big and they are growing up so fast. Time, please slow down just a little… I want to savor every moment.
I don’t love having my picture taken, but I couldn’t hide my excitement… and this is about as good as it gets.
Christmas.
Snow.
Christmas party.
Red and green.
17 days til Christmas.
I think you get the idea.
It was sooooo great!
Abe was the guinea pig on a game the kids played.
Vaseline on his face while the other kids threw cotton balls and tried to get them to stick to make a Santa beard. He looks like he is miserable… but I assure you, he enjoyed himself… that’s just Abe.
I grabbed a couple of pictures during Bingo. I’m thankful I took at least one of each of the kids.
And this little guy loved Bingo! He may have not understood the whole idea behind it, but he liked pulling the pieces apart and putting them on the board. He’s a smarty for sure!
Such sweet friends. They bless my heart.
